Dorian Gray is a classic gothic character: flawed, dark, and kinda moody. This book is a classic take on gothic literature that pairs with this classic twist on a cocktail. I decided to take the dark color of blackberries mixed with lime juice and whiskey to create a sweet and tart cocktail. Perfect for the feeling of this book.

Ingredients

2 oz Whiskey

1/2 oz Cointreau (Orange Liqueur)

1 oz Lime Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

Six Blackberries

Garnish: Three Blackberries

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries and simple syrup. Add ice. Then add lime juice, whiskey, and cointreau. Shake until cold. Strain into a double old fashioned glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with blackberries.
