Thankful for Cocktails

Updated: Mar 7, 2022

This thanksgiving, I'm sharing my favorite holiday appropriate cocktails. These cocktails are perfect for whatever celebration you are having and mix the flavors of thanksgiving food with the flavors of fall.

Apple Cider Mule

2 oz Apple liqueur

1/2 oz Allspice dram

1 oz Lime juice

Top with Ginger beer

Garnish: apple slice

Recipe: In a mule glass or mug, add ice then pour the apple liqueur, allspice dram, and lime juice. Give it a nice stir while adding in the ginger beer. This cocktail is perfect to pair with a fun movie and a little snack (maybe the rest of the apple?). It pairs nicely with caramel corn, apples, and salty snacks.

Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade

Lemon juice

Garnish: blackberries

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries with simple syrup. Then add ice and the other ingredients. Give it a good shake. Pour into a cocktail glass with ice. This cocktail is a perfect hit of color, sourness, and sweetness. It's great for an after dinner drink and pairs nicely with pies and cheesecake.
