I'm back to my whiskey and my regular posting. I'm excited about all this fall weather and the upcoming holidays. This whiskey drink is a perfect drink to impress your guests and show off a little fanciness.

A classic for a Reason

Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz George Dickel Bourbon

1 oz Luxardo Liqueur

1 oz Lemon Juice

1 oz Cane Simple Syrup

Garnish: Maraschino Cherry

Recipe

This is a simple sour with a fancy whiskey. George Dickel Bourbon is strong. Not unlike Woodford Reserve, it doesn't need all the fancy ingredients. It needs a few simple ingredients to show off. In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Shake until cold to the touch (about ten seconds). Strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.
