Limon for Limoncello: A twist on a Limoncello Spritz

In the Summer, I like a spritz. This Limoncello cocktail is a perfect bright spot on any week. A little orange juice with limoncello makes for a surprising cocktail.

Ingredients

2 1/2 oz Limoncello

1 oz Orange Juice

6 mint leaves

Top with sparkling water

Garnish: Orange peel and mint leaves

In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add ice then orange juice and limoncello. Close and shake until cold to the touch. Double strain into a highball with ice. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with an orange peel and mint leaves.

It's a simple but powerful cocktail. A little bright spot and a new way to enjoy limoncello!
