Gin with a Twist: Cocktails don't have to be what you think

Sometimes you want to surprise your guests with a cocktail. I like this one because it's surprisingly pretty and easy to sip. It also mixes traditional flavors with a fun twist. Perfect for people that you want to surprise and show the beauty of a little gin.

Gin Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Gin

1 oz Orange Liqueur

1 oz Lime Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

Three dashes of edible green glitter

Garnish: Orange Peel

Recipe

The edible glitter is a little extra. It adds a hint of sparkle and also changes the color of the drink. Makes it a bit more teal. In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Shake until cold to the touch (about ten seconds). Strain into a coupe glass or martin glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

This is a sweet and easy drink. Pretty but not overwhelming. A good drink for someone who likes a gimlet and wants to elevate it.
