This past weekend was fun! I love a beach town post summer. It's quiet and you get more of the local experience. Viriginia Beach to me is about five hours away and a nice moment to check out the atlantic ocean. Some top spots for me this weekend: Vibrant Shores Brewing Company, Esoteric Restaurant, and The Bee and the Biscuit. One is a classic brewery, one is a nice cocktail bar, and one is great brunch spot!

Vibrant Shore Brewing Company
Cheers to a good time! This Brewery was a nice off the drive spot where you can get a nice beer and just chill out. While we were there in Virginia Beach, they had a mural festival so there was a person painting the sidewalk like a tile work. I loved the variety of Beers and just being able to sit out and have a drink. Nothing like a chill start to a vacation.
Esoteric
A little cute cocktail bar always hits my fancy for happy hour. This spot wasn't on my list but I saw it walking around and decided to stop. The vibe is very chic and still beachy. They have indoor and outdoor dining. It's a small place with great cocktials. I got a beautiful old fashioned and my mom got a tequila cocktail. Definitely a place I would return to!
The Bee and the Biscuit
When I go to brunch, I truly believe in the three liquid plan. One liquid for hydration, one for caffeine, and one for fun. My trio is a vanilla latte, water, and a grapefruit mimosa. I think I will tell everyone about this place. It was cute, well branded, and timely. You eat, you have a fun experience, and you don't feel rushed! I loved the vibe and it feels rather fancy (especially with the valet experience). Everyone needs a good brunch spot and this one is a very good one.
