Classic like an Amaretto Sour

My introduction to cocktails began with an amaretto sour. This sweet drink is a perfect example of how to create something simple yet sophisticated. I liked amaretto and it kind of was like my brown liquor entry point. Recently I picked up some amaretto for another cocktail and I thought why not make a sour? So I made my version of a simple sour. This is something you can make for anyone who likes a sweet treat. It's easy and simple. And it still makes me feel fancy.

Classic Amaretto Sour

Amaretto Sour

Ingredients

2 oz Amaretto

1 oz Lemon Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

Garnish: Cherry

Recipe

In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Close and give in a good shake. Strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with a cherry.

Enjoy this drink as a sipping fun! I like creating a classic cocktail with a little twist but this one is my straight choice. It's easy to make and so good!
