Are we fighting Friday or are we fully loving it?

It's Friday and I've had a good week! I wanted to share my favorite version of a champagne cocktail right now. I want to celebrate Friday this week! Nothing wrong with the week finishing up and my schedule clearing up, right? My favorite winter twist on a champagne cocktail uses the flavors of blood orange and Campari to spice things up.

Champagne and No Pain

Top with Brut Champagne (about 1 to 2 ozs)

1 1/2 oz Gin

1/2 oz Campari

1 oz Blood Orange Juice

1 Sugar Cube

Garnish: Blood Orange Slice

Recipe: In a coupe glass or champagne flute, place the sugar cube at the bottom of the glass. In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour gin, Campari, and blood orange juice. Shake until cold (about twenty seconds). Pour into the glass over the sugar cube. Top with champagne.
