Amaretto On the Rocks-She's Sweet but hits you when you stand up

Something about a sweet liquor is that you don't notice it when you drink it, but when you stand up you realize I just drank alcohol. I love a cocktail that can appeal to a lot of different people and that's what this one does. You don't know it until later.

Amaretto for the Non Drinkers

Amaretto cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Amaretto

1 oz Lime Juice

Four dashes of Angostura Bitters

Top with Ginger Beer

Garnish: Lime Wedge

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour amaretto and lime juice. Dash in bitters. Shake until cold to the touch (about ten seconds). Strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Top with ginger beer. This cocktail is sweet but strong. She's great with savory snacks like a charcuterie board or a cheese dip.
