Yoga is fuel for the soul and the bones. I find peace with yoga and also a great stretch. I need to do yoga to stretch out my muscles in between other workouts and also just in the morning to help my body wake up. I like yoga at home or in the studio. My favorite is in the studio though. I like the group pain that can happen when you are really pushing yourself. I also like to check my body movements in mirrors. It helps me to stay focused and to check my core.
Yoga can be extremely hard. It's hard to push your body and your mind. It can be hard to remain still for so long and let your mind go. I think that a lot of people have the mindset that they can't do it so they hold back from yoga. That's wrong. If you want to do yoga, you should try it. You may suck. You may be in pain. But you did it. I have felt that I was terrible at yoga at times even in a workout. I kept going. I kept trying and eventually my body listened to it. My mind stopped getting in my head and instead I just tried my best. You can't compare yourself to anyone else when you are practicing. It's not about the other people. It's about you. It's about your reason for practicing yoga. It's your life. No one else knows what is going on in your head. So just go yoga if you want to yoga. If you don't want to, then don't.
