Watermelon on a Monday

If you've been following along, you know by now that I love a #MartiniMonday. I'm not a big martini person, so this gives me the push to try out something new every week and changing it up. This week is no difference as I play with the taste of vodka and watermelon. I wanted to create a martini that both hits the spot but also would be good to everyone and also summer appropriate.

Watermelon Martini

Vodka Martini

Ingredients

2 oz Vodka

1 oz Watermelon juice

1/2 oz Lemon juice

Garnish: Watermelon

Recipe: This cocktail is a refreshing martini. In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Shake until the shaker feels nice and cold. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a little piece of watermelon. Simple and refreshing: the perfect martini for the summer.
