Sunny Side: Bourbon on a Whiskey Wednesday

This Wednesday, I'm enjoying a little girly cocktail. A little grapefruit and orange makes for a refreshing play with bourbon. This is one even the bourbon haters will love.

Bourbon Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Bourbon

1/2 oz All Spice Dram

1/2 oz Orange Juice

Top with grapefruit soda (about one ounce)

Garnish: Grapefruit Peel

Recipe

In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour bourbon, all spice dram, and orange juice. Close and shake until cold (about ten seconds). Strain into an old fashioned glass with ice (preferably a large ice cube). Top with grapefruit soda. Garnish with a grapefruit or orange peel.
