Spritzing Away with this one

Writer: The GothThe Goth

This little champagne spritz is a perfect summer cocktail. I love a good bit of grapefruit. This one is balanced and fair.

Spritzing Away

Champagne Cocktail

Ingredients

1 oz Gin

1 oz Grapefruit Juice

Three Dashes of Peychaud's Bitters

Top with Champagne

Garnish: Grapefruit Peel

Sometimes a girl needs some champagne! This champagne cocktail is bright and light. Perfect for an afternoon tea or a little snack. It's a sort of combination of mimosa and french 75. What I personally love is how bright it is and how it feels so light. You don't feel like you are getting too drunk too quickly. It's something you can sip and enjoy.

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour gin, grapefruit juice, and dashes of peychaud's bitters. Close and shake until cold (about ten seconds). Strain into a champagne flute. Top with champagne and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
