Something Sweet and Something Easy: Gin Cocktail

It's still beautiful weather and I'm still eating peaches. This Gin and Soda with muddled peaches.

Gin Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Gin

1 oz Creme de Violette

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

One small peach (sliced and muddled)

Top with Club Soda

Garnish: Lime Wedge and Peach Slice

For your own taste, you can add a little lime juice. I would say I like about another lime wedge in my cocktail. Adds a little bit more flavor.

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, place peach slices and add simple syrup. Muddle. Add ice then add gin and creme de violette. Close and shake until cold (about fifteen seconds). Double strain into a highball glass with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with lime wedge and peach slice.
