I'm obviously in a big apple mood this week. My house is literally littered with apples from my apple picking session over the past weekend. To me it gives major fall vibes and is also a healthy little obsession. Today, I'm sharing my favorite way to make my bourbon a little apple-y. This apple cider bourbon mule is an essential part of the fall experience! Try it out and feel the fall-ness for yourself.
What's a Mule Got to Do with It?
Bourbon mule
Ingredients
2 oz Bourbon
1 oz Apple cider
1 oz Lime Juice
Top with Ginger Beer
Garnish: Lime wedge and Apple Slice
Recipe: I love mules for their perfect little cocktail approach. You can make it just as you like it (I usually like a strong bourbon and a little ginger beer). In a mule glass or mug with ice, pour bourbon, cider, and lime juice. Give it a nice stir. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge and Apple Slice. The perfect sipping cocktail to make on a busy day that helps to sweeten it and make the day relaxing and oh so fall.
