When it gets to the holidays, there's nothing I love more than a champagne cocktail. It's fancy but doesn't take a lot to prepare or think about. It can also be totally tailored so when you have people over, you can make adjustments (or have them do it themselves).
Top with Blanc de Blanc Champagne
1 1/2 oz Aperol
1 oz Lemon Juice
3 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
1 Sugar Cube
Garnish: Lemon Peel
Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour lemon juice and aperol. In a champagne flute, place sugar cube and bitters. Shake the cocktail shaker and strain into the flute over the sugar cube. Top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon peel.
