Girls gotta have her cookies

I'm someone who never says no to a cookie. I like to treat myself as much as I can as a little reward system to keep you motivated. This week I am sharing my favorite cookie inspired cocktails. They are getting me in the mood for a little Girl Scout cookie action.

It’s S’more for me

S’mores cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Bourbon

3/4 oz Almond Liqueur

1 oz Lemon juice

Six dashes of Chocolate bitters

Garnish: s’more cookie rim and Girl Scout cookie

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, almond liquor, lemon juice, and chocolate bitters with ice. Shake until cold. Pour into a chilled coupe glass with a cookie rim and cookie.

Peanuts for the nuts

Ingredients

2 oz Whiskey

1 oz Almond liqueur

1 oz lime juice

1/2 oz Allspice dram

Garnish: peanut butter cookie rim

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Shake until cold. Pour into a double old fashioned glass with an ice cube and cookie rim.

Chocolate powerhouse

Vodka cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Cherry Vodka

3/4 oz Kahlua

1/2 oz lemon juice

1 oz Skim Milk

Six dashes of Chocolate bitters

Garnish: chocolate syrup drip

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Shake until cold. Pour into a chilled martini glass with chocolate syrup dripped in it.

Tip: For the drip, chill the glass. Pull it out and drip the chocolate syrup around the rim on the inside of the glass. Then rechill the glass.
