While I was in New Hampshire on vacation, I stopped at the local liquor store because there are no taxes and I am cheap. I also like to see what options are available in different areas. Sometimes you find little treasures like this George Dickel Bourbon. I have had George Dickel whiskey before and even visited the distillery in Tennessee. So I was even more excited to try it and see what it tasted like. It's a strong one! I like that in my whiskey.

George Does it Well
Bourbon Cocktail

Ingredients
2 oz George Dickel Bourbon
1 oz Cointreau
2 Rosemary Sprigs (Broken up and muddled)
1/2 of an orange (about 1 and 1/2 oz orange juice)
Garnish: Rosemary Sprig and Orange Peel

Recipe
In a cocktail shaker, muddle rosemary and orange juice.
For the orange juice, halve an orange and then split that into quarters if you are using a hand held juicer like me. If you have a standard juicer you will be able to juice the half.
In the shaker, add ice. Then pour bourbon and cointreau. Close and Shake until cold to the touch (about ten seconds). Strain into an old fashioned glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and an orange peel.
