This past weekend, we said goodbye to Summer 2024. We did not say goodbye to Frozen Espresso Martinis. Because my god are they delightful.

Frozen Espresso Martini
The Secret to a a great frozen martini is coffee ice cubes. Freeze your cold brew in ice cube trays (good squares or small cubes work well). It gives you: one that great coffee flavor and two no water in your cocktail. It also changes up how much caffeine you are putting in your martini. Now I love a good strong coffee, so I love giving my homemade coffee the ice cube treatment. You can create your coffee or buy it, you do you.
Ingredients (for two)
Four Square Coffee Ice Cubes
3 oz Vodka
1 1/2 oz Kahlua
Two teaspoons of Espresso Powder
Optional: 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (If you like it sweet, add the sweetness)
Recipe: In your blender, place ice cubes. Then pour vodka, kahlua, and dash of espresso powder. Blend until you get a nice consistency (sort of like more than a smoothie but not completely impossible to drink). For my blender, it takes about 50 seconds to blend. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Enjoy!
