Cherry Bounce/Cherry Bomb is an at home creation inspired by the food and wine blog piece (i used rye whiskey but otherwise followed along). It smells fantastic: what wouldn’t when it’s alcohol soaked with cherries for eight months. It’s now a strong cherry liqueur that I can use with all my favorite holiday inspired cocktails. Like the gift that keeps on giving and gets everyone toasted on Thanksgiving. I was literally ridiculously excited when I filtered it out of the jar from the cherries. The scent reminded me of my November romantic fall theme. So I have to share some of my little creations.

Melodramatic Martini
Vodka martini
Ingredients
2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Cherry Bomb
1 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Garnish: Moonshine Cherry

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Give it a good stir before pouring into your chilled martini glass. For a garnish I would either go moonshine cherry, maraschino cherry, and Luxardo Cherry. Moonshine and Maraschino have the bright red color which I like to balance the colors of the martini. The Luxardo Cherry is delicious and delightful so it also works but doesn’t have the color contrast (so definitely something to consider if your point is to enjoy eating the cherry rather than take photos of it like me).

Don’t Throw Punches
Punch
Ingredients
2 oz Cherry Bomb
1 oz Lime juice
3 oz Ginger ale (or to taste)
Garnish: Lime Wedge and cherry

Recipe: This is a party cocktail. I like to prep the cherry bomb and lime juice together for a couple cocktails and get it all set up before the party like I would with my charcuterie board or other snacks. It’s a very simple set up. Just pour cherry bomb then lime juice in a pitcher or punch bowl and stir. You can add in the ginger ale after and combine Or you can leave that on the side and allow your guests to customize their cocktail.

Cherries for Dessert
Ice Cream Float
Ingredients
Ice Cream (preferably vanilla and chocolate)
2 oz Cherry Bomb
6 oz Coke
Garnish: Maraschino Cherry

1=2 oz Cherry Bombbl glass, pour coke half way. Add in cherry bomb then the ice cream. Be sure to stir as you add ingredients. I would also continue stirring as you drink because the ice cream can be iceberg for the other ingredients.
