#MartiniMonday anyone? I love a good gin martini but today I'm switching it up with a twist on a gin sour. I love sours (gin or bourbon) and this one just happens to be one of my favorite after work drinks. Super easy to make and super quick to hit. It's meant to be sipped after all. My sour changes the lemon juice to a pink lemon juice (something new to me!) which allows for a little color and sweetness to the cocktail that it has previously missed.
Pink Lemons Make me Sour
Gin Sour
Ingredients
2 oz Gin
1 oz Pink Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Garnish: Pink Lemon Wedge
Recipe: This is so simple it's amazing. In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Give it a power shake and then pour into your chilled martini or coupe glass. Add your garnish and hello cocktail hour! Simple, sort of sweet, and definitely hits the spot after a long day.
