This is a Jack Rose inspired champagne cocktail. Jack Rose is a popular cocktail from the 1920s. It includes applejacks, lime juice, and grenadine and garnished with a maraschino cherry. I love this cocktail for the mix of sweet and tart. It also has a beautiful red color and is a great cocktail for a party. I took the basics of the cocktail and added champagne to elevate it and also because isn't everything better with a little bubbly?
2 oz Blanc de Blanc Champagne
1 oz Applejacks
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz Grenadine
Recipe: In a shaker with ice, pour applejacks, lime juice, and grenadine. Shake until cold. Pour into a coupe glass and top with champagne.
Definitely try this cocktail if you are in the mood for a little bubbly and want to feel fancy but not just drink champagne. This is great if you are having an afternoon tea or a little gossip session.
