A Pretty Purple Tequila Cocktail

This cocktail is sort of unexpected. A little sweet and a lot of bit dangerous. I love a cocktail that is a beautiful color and pretty easy to make. Try this blackberry tequila cocktail and impress!

Ingredients

2 oz Tequila

1 oz Lemon Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

6 Blackberries

6 Mint Leaves

Dash of Edible Purple Glitter (Optional)

Garnish: Blackberries and Mint Leaves

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries, mint leaves, and simple syrup. You really want to break up the blackberries so that they are squished and the flavor is really exposed with the mint. Add ice. Then pour tequila and lemon juice. Dash in your purple glitter. Close and shake until cold to the touch (about fifteen seconds). If your shaker has bigger holes or you really don't want blackberry bits in your cocktail, double strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with blackberries and mint leaves. A simple and easy cocktail!
