Another day, another springtime cocktail. This time I'm updating the classic margarita with a refreshing twist. I add in cucumber and a little mint to help make the cocktail special. Trust me it's worth the muddling.
Spicy and Refreshing
2 oz Poblano Liqueur
1/2 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Muddled Cucumber (approximately six to nine small circles)
Garnish: Salt Rim and Cucumber Slice
Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, muddle cucumber slices with simple syrup. Add ice then follow with liqueurs and lime juice. Shake until nice and cold. Optional: Sprinkle salt into the shaker before you mix it, this helps to add a little bit more flavor and can work even if you don't like a salt rim. Serve in a margarita glass with ice.
