Date night cocktails are something that I love for a little at home date night. It's nice to serve a cocktail to your lover before your date. I feel like it sets the mood. Today I'm sharing one of my at home romantic staples: The French Martini. It's pretty, it's potent, and so simple to make. Perfect for when you want to impress but also don't want to work that hard.
The French Martini

Ingredients
2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Chambord Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
Garnish: Raspberries
Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour all ingredients. Serve in a chilled martini glass. I love this cocktail as a pre-dinner cocktail where you sit and chat about your day before you go into another mode of cleaning, cooking, or going out. It's the cocktail where you sit, you sip, and you connect. It works for a date night or a catch up with friends and family. It's a pretty cocktail.
PRO TIP: If you want to elevate this drink, you need to either use fresh pineapple juice or cheat a little by doing a dry shake with an egg white. This will create a frothy look that is sure to impress.
