Mocktail Monday with A Blackberry Moment

When I get back from a trip, I try to reset. I want to get my body back into work and life mode. Usually I still crave a cocktail, so I make a mocktail to help my brain feel special but also not drink alcohol. This blackberry drink is pretty and light to drink. A little dark bubbly drink to be a beacon for your Monday vibes. It also pulls in the blackberry obsession that summer provides.

A Blackberry Moment

Mocktail

Ingredients

6 Blackberries (muddled)

1 oz Simple Syrup

2 oz Ginger Beer

Top with Sparkling water (about two to three ounces)

Garnish: Blackberries

Recipe

In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries and simple syrup. Add ice and then pour ginger beer. Lightly shake (remember that bubbles could explode). Double strain into a highball glass with ice. Top with Sparkling water.

She's sweet and easy to drink. Something to serve your guests or yourself when you want to feel fancy but you also don't want to do a lot of work. It's a fruity drink that doesn't overwhelm.
