Mocktail Monday is Back at it Baltimore style

I recently moved to Baltimore and in the mix of moving and finding my space and neighborhood, I need a little pick me up. I created this mocktail with the basics. I wanted something simple that can be replicated without tons of work. I picked up some lemon, a little cayenne pepper and tonic water to make a spicy lemonade mocktail. This one is not for the week but for those that are brave!

Ingredients

4 oz Tonic Water

1 oz Lemon Juice

One to Three dashes of Cayenne Pepper (do it to your strength and taste)

Garnish: Lemon Wedge

Recipe: This is a simple and fun mocktail. All you have to do is pour some lemon juice then cayenne powder and top it off with tonic water. For drinking purpose, I strongly suggest drinking with ice and using a straw. This will help you to continually mix the cayenne and lemon in so you aren't just getting one strong hit. Give this a shot when you need a little pick me up and also want something that's good for your health. I honestly like this one if I want a twist on water. It's spicy and flavorful and super easy to make. Plus it pairs with litterally everything (my favorite is with fries).
