Candy coated and ready for Horror movies

There's nothing better than candy-coated cocktails for the fall weather movie marathons. I love to make a sweet treat to go with my popcorn and other movie snacks. This week I'm sharing my three favorite candy cocktails to enjoy for your next movie marathon. Check them out!

Halloween is so Spirited

Vodka martini

Ingredients

2 oz Cherry vodka

1 oz Cointreau

1oz lime juice

3 dashes of Spiced cherry bitters

Garnish: Luxardo Cherry

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, pour cherry vodka, cointreau, lime juice, and spiced cherry bitters. Shake until cold. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.

PRO TIP: This cocktail is a perfect sour and savory pair for salty snacks! I would suggest peanuts or almonds. And maybe a Vincent Price movie

An Apple Caramel Disaster

Bourbon cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Bourbon

1 oz Apple liqueur

1 oz Lemon juice

1 drizzle of Caramel

Garnish: Caramel drizzle on the inside of the cocktail glass

Recipe: In a mixing glass, pour bourbon, apple liqueur, and lemon juice. Stir to combine. In a coupe glass, drizzle some (salted if you have it) caramel into the inside of the glass. Then chill the glass. When ready, pour from the mixing glass.

PRO TIP: This cocktail is perfect for nights that are just getting a little chilly. Using the caramel in the glass, you add an extra bit of sweetness so I highly encourage savory or light flavored snacks. It's great with pumpkin seeds or popcorn.

Chocolate Monster

whiskey cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Malted Whiskey

1/2 oz Cointreau

1 oz lemon juice

3 dashes of Chocolate bitters

Garnish: M&M Rim

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, pour malted whiskey, cointreau, lemon juice, and chocolate bitters. Give it a nice shake! Pour into a chilled martini glass.

PRO TIP: Crush those M&Ms and make a fun rim. It's a great cocktail for when you want to be sophisticated but also want to eat candy. The perfect holiday drink.
