I love a dark cocktail. My little black heart wants to set the mood for your romantic evening with whomever with this cocktail. This martini is a perfect evening cocktail that can be served before or after dinner (or not with dinner at all).

Ingredients
2 oz Cherry Vodka
1 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Garnish: Luxardo Cherry
Recipe: Now I've waxed on before about my cherry vodka fetish and creation. It's a very simple recipe and development: Get some vodka, pit some cherries, and put two and two together and you get cherry vodka. (Obviously takes a bit more than that but that's the gist). Cherry vodka is an important staple in my household because I love cherry flavored things. This cocktail is a simple way to make a fancy martini with simple ingredients. You can buy cherry vodka if you don't have the time to do it (it just won't have the cherry color so I would add some dye or cherry juice to add more flavor and color). For the cocktail, you pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Give it a nice shake and cool the whole shaker. Then pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a luxardo cherry.
Pro Tip: If you use cherry vodka that is store bought, the juice of the luxardo cherries (the one in the glass container) is a perfect way to add the color for the cocktail.
